To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy will host an international workshop on the overarching theme of inequalities.

This is in line with Dondena’s consolidated and internationally recognized specialization, which is also reflected in a range of research projects on this and related topics. Indeed, inequalities represent features of and challenges for many areas of interest of the Center, which in its new structure consists of the units of Population Dynamics and Health, Politics and Institutions, Welfare State and Taxation, as well as the Dondena Gender Initiative.

The workshop will include top international scholars with different academic specializations and will discuss inequality from different angles. The aim is to reach a deeper understanding of a complex and important—but also scientifically as well as divisive—aspect: the existence, the origins, and the developments of inequalities among human beings.

A light aperitivo will follow.
